Job Summary
We are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Inside Sales Representative to manage, facilitate, and grow an existing book of business. In this role, you will not be cold-calling or hunting for new leads; instead you will serve as the dedicated growth partner for our current clients. Your primary mission is to build deep, consultative relationships with existing accounts, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and ensure high retention rates through exceptional service and proactive account planning.
Core Responsibilities
- Account Growth & Upselling: Analyze current client purchasing patterns to identify, propose, and close cross-sell and upsell opportunities that maximize share of wallet.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary internal point of contact for an assigned portfolio of accounts, conducting regular check-ins to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Order Facilitation: Guide existing clients through the reorder process, generate accurate quotes, negotiate renewal terms and oversee complex order placement.
- Churn Mitigation: Proactively identify "at-risk" accounts showing declining activity, uncover their pain points, and implement retention strategies to protect revenue.
- Pipeline Forecasting: Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, opportunities, and revenue forecasts within our CRM platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with customer service, production, and product teams to ensure client feedback is addressed and orders are fulfilled seamlessly.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–4 years of inside sales, account management, or consultative sales experience, managing a dedicated B2B client portfolio preferred.
- CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience working with modern sales tools and CRMs.
- Communication Powerhouse: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present business solutions over the phone and via video meetings.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation, pricing, and mathematical skills required to build complex quotes and contracts.
- Self-Driven Organization: Proven ability to manage a high volume of accounts simultaneously without letting details or follow-ups slip through the cracks.
