Summary
The outboard mechanic helper role is responsible for assisting the Outboard Mechanic in troubleshooting, analyzing defects, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems of small marine vessels in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. This role is going to be focused on the overall maintenance and upkeep of survey boats and crew boats, predominantly pertaining to outboard motors.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTSThe employee must perform the job's essential functions with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
The individual must also be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work or visit within areas where it is required. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, life vest, respirators, earplugs, steel-toed shoes, personal flotation devices (PFD’s), or other protective equipment as required by the work performed and the location where the work is being done.
