Guest Experience Coordinator – Salem & Gloucester Properties
Location: Salem, MA & Gloucester, MA
Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with on-call availability during scheduled evenings
About the Role
The Coach House (Salem, MA) and The Highliner (Gloucester, MA), part of the Sullivan Capital hospitality collection, are seeking a Guest Experience Coordinator to provide on-site operational coverage and guest support across our boutique hotel properties.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys working independently, solving problems proactively, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. As the primary on-site representative during scheduled coverage hours, you will oversee daily property operations, support guest needs, coordinate vendors and deliveries, and serve as the local point of contact for remote management teams.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the on-site representative for both properties during scheduled coverage shifts.
- Welcome guests as needed and assist with arrivals, departures, and special requests.
- Monitor property presentation and ensure common areas maintain Sullivan Capital standards.
- Receive deliveries and coordinate access for vendors, contractors, and service providers.
- Perform routine property walkthroughs and identify maintenance, safety, or operational concerns.
- Communicate with remote management teams regarding guest issues, property updates, and operational needs.
- Respond to urgent guest or property matters during scheduled on-call periods.
- Assist with operational projects, inventory organization, and administrative support as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in hospitality, property management, customer service, or operations preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing hospitality technology platforms, including Mews, Breezeway, remote access systems, and internal applications.
- Professional, dependable, and highly organized.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a calm and guest-focused approach.
- Must reside between Salem and Gloucester or within a 30-minute commute of both properties.
- Availability for scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday shifts, with evening on-call coverage during assigned workdays. Occasional weekend coverage may be optional for additional support, as needed.
The Ideal Fit
You enjoy boutique hospitality, take pride in maintaining exceptional guest experiences, and are comfortable serving as the face of the property when management is off-site. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and confident handling guest needs, vendor coordination, and day-to-day operational oversight independently.
