Publishing Operations Manager (Part-Time, Contract)
Sulit Press | Remote | 10-15 hrs/week | $30-$35/hour

We’re hiring a Publishing Operations Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our publishing programs and help create a calm, supportive experience for our authors.
What You’ll Do
- Manage timelines for multiple multi-author books at different stages
- Coordinate manuscript collection, editing rounds, proofs, ARCs, and final files
- Format eBooks and print interiors for KDP
- Upload books to Amazon and IngramSpark
- Review digital and print proofs prior to approval
- Serve as the primary point of contact for authors with warmth and professionalism
- Manage onboarding, Slack, calendars, and internal trackers
- Send weekly program emails, reminders, and follow-ups
- Maintain organized file systems and clear documentation
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical workflow improvements
- Support Sulit Circle operations and launch event logistics as needed

Structure
- Approximately 10-12 hours per week (possibly more in the future)
- Contract role with steady hours and seasonal intensity
