Job Description:
Looking for a reliable, trustworthy and knowledgeable person who can troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete work orders as they come to call. The Ideal candidate will be able to work well with other members of the team along with the ability to productively work alone as well. Having good customer service and a pleasant attitude is necessary, especially when working within our communities. Experience in all aspects of property maintenance is a plus, but will train the right person. Emergency, On-Call hours as needed.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair/replace plumbing such as toilets, sinks, & showers.
Troubleshoot and repair/replace heating such as boilers, Rinnai style heaters & T-stats.
Troubleshoot and repair/replace electrical such as outlet/switches, circuit breakers, appliances, lighting and smoke detectors.
Complete the maintenance of an apartment turn-over promptly and efficiently.
Drywall repair/replacement & painting.
Landscaping and yardwork such as tree trimming/removal, raking, mulching, shoveling, snow removal, pavement repairs/restriping.
Answering any work order requests that are reported within a tenant's unit by assessing, repairing/replacing any known issues in a prompt and respectful manner.
Deliver notices & complete inspections within multiple different properties.
Maintain all buildings in good condition with continuous upkeep and maintenance where necessary.
Qualifications:
Must be able to manage multiple priorities and have a broad range of maintenance skills.
Must be trustworthy and reliable, on time, quick and a self starter.
Must have the ability to follow instructions and work under minimal supervision.
Must be able to work clean and neatly with respect to the tenants and their homes.
Must have a valid state driver's license, reliable and insured transportation.
Must pass a Background, Credit & Drug test (including cannabis)
Preferred previous knowledge in all aspects of property maintenance work.
Occasional after hours on call availability for emergencies requested.
