About the Position
This is a dynamic role that requires a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day management of residential facilities, including administrative operations, staff supervision, and student services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with overall departmental functions, office operations, and administrative procedures.
- Serve as on-call personnel for Residence Life on a rotating basis for week nights and weekends.
- Provide support, instruction, resources, and assistance to Resident Assistants in carrying out their duties.
- Coordinate staff selection and training of student staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote student development and community building.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- One or more years of experience with student account systems or closely related skills/experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to interface at all levels with campus officials.
- Computer literate in terms of personal computer.
Working Conditions:
The position is exempt from overtime provisions and requires irregular hours, including evenings and weekends. Travel may be required with student groups.
