We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend wine pairings or specialty items, and upsell to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and clearing procedures
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools
- Assist with bussing tables, refilling beverages, and maintaining a clean dining environment to support overall restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or upscale venues
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while providing attentive guest service
- Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven approaches to enhance guest experiences
- Background in hospitality roles such as host/host or bartender is a plus but not required
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and team members using basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
