SUMMARY
Suite Living Senior Care of Brooklyn Park is a 32-unit Assisted Living & Memory Care facility and we are looking to hire a professional and compassionate HOUSEKEEPER to join our team! The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Senior Living community as a Housekeeper or Caregiver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, scour, and sanitize areas as assigned; must move furniture and equipment as necessary to clean.
- Keep harmful chemicals safety stored to OSHA standards and perform cleaning procedures in accordance to building policies.
- Use proper body mechanics during cleaning and moving furniture.
- Utilize housekeeping supplies as needed and properly care for all housekeeping equipment.
- May assist with various Caregiver duties as needed
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Previous experience as a Housekeeper strongly preferred
- Experience in a Senior Living community strongly preferred
- Previous experience as a Caregiver strongly preferred but not required
- Must have excellent knowledge of all housekeeping duties and expectations
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards required
- Must be respectful and compassionate towards the geriatric population
- Must have excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills with residents, staff members, and families
- Must have physical aptitude to perform the functions of the job
