What you will do:
Suitable is growing and looking to add an ambitious and experienced Account Executive to our mission-driven team that is helping schools transform their student experience! As an Account Executive, you will play a vital role in maintaining existing client relationships and fostering new ones. You will be primarily responsible for selling Suitable’s products and services and will work closely with clients to meet their needs and preferences. You will serve as the main point of contact for prospective clients; answering their questions, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring they have a positive experience with the company. You should be ready to devote significant time to understanding and executing on the full sales process; from discovery calls, demoing, overcoming objections, contracting, all the way to closing.
Who you are:
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Executive with a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and at least 1 year selling specifically in the Higher Education market. You are motivated by revenue growth, hustle to achieve goals, and do whatever it takes to get the job done. You’re a people-person and thrive on building new client relationships. You have strong organizational skills and are comfortable with meticulous follow-through and dealing with ambiguity. You’re a student of sales and always hungry to improve your talents and master your craft. You have a team player attitude and looking for a role that can take your career to another level. Most importantly, you love sales!
We’ll evaluate you by 1) Cultural fit 2) Previous successes/contributions, and then 3) formal education.
Responsibilities
This position involves both base and variable compensation. Base compensation for this position ranges between $80,000- $120,000 with On-Target-Earnings ranging between $150,000 - $200,000 and no cap on commissions.

- Qualify leads through a variety of inbound and outbound methods
- Achieve assigned goals and quotas on a weekly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Achieve an operating mastery of our product and how the features benefit a university
- Ensure our CRM reflects your updated, accurate client & pipeline data
- Conduct software demos / presentations both in-person and virtually
- Build and nurture key relationships with prospective clients and current clients
- Own, manage, and drive your sales opportunities from first call through close
- Proven Account Executive experience and accomplishments
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Higher Ed sales experience
- Experience selling SaaS solutions
- Some travel is expected relating to conferences, in-person events, and meetings in your territory
