Role Description The Fleet Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Rainbow City, AL. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet operations, including dispatch coordination, equipment utilization, maintenance scheduling, and driver support. The Fleet Manager monitors fleet performance, ensures compliance with DOT regulations and company policies, and collaborates with operations leadership to optimize routes, control costs, and improve service levels. Daily tasks include reviewing reports and analytics, resolving operational issues, communicating with drivers and vendors, and maintaining accurate records of vehicles, inspections, and repairs. The role also involves contributing to safety initiatives, supporting driver retention efforts, and helping ensure that Suit Trans delivers reliable, respectful service aligned with its driver-first values.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Fleet Management and Fleet Operations skills, including oversight of trucks, drivers, and routes.
