Suit Mart is a new men's and kids' clothing store in Brooklyn. We're hiring a dependable, experienced sales associate who understands sizing and fit, provides attentive service, and confidently sells complete outfits.
Location: 1232 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11226
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take accurate customer measurements and determine appropriate suit sizes.
- Measure for dress shirts, including neck size and sleeve length.
- Assess jacket, trouser, and shirt fit and guide customers toward the right size and style.
- Help customers coordinate suits, shirts, pants, and accessories for their occasion and budget.
- Recommend relevant additional items and multiple outfits to increase sales.
- Confidently close sales and assist multiple customers while maintaining attentive service.
- Process purchases accurately and keep merchandise organized, stocked, and presentable.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous clothing retail sales experience required.
- Practical knowledge of suit sizing, dress shirt measurements, and proper fit required.
- Confidence approaching customers, recommending products, and closing sales.
- Clear communication, punctuality, reliability, and consistent availability.
- Men's formalwear experience preferred; kids' clothing experience is a plus.
