The position is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support and project management for the sales team while serving as the primary liaison to our revenue centers.

Essential Functions:
- Maintain and accurately update customer records within software programs (Salesforce)
- Create and prepare accurate catering banquet event orders (BEO) for clients, gaining valuable experience in event coordination while ensuring that the catering offer matches the contracted event(s)
- Communicates any additional upsell or changes that may impact the original contract to Sales Manager
- Fulfillment of service from the time the contract is signed to the day of delivery.
- Serve as a departmental liaison for a variety of sales-related topics, developing cross-functional communication and relationship-building skills
- Respond to all client inquiries in a timely manner
- On site event assistance through the direction of the Sales Manager
- This job requires flexibility and may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and team/goal-oriented
- Well organized with an aptitude for problem-solving
- Displays responsible time management and ability to work in fast paced environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. for event-related needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Springer Miller Host PMS platform
- Familiarity with Amadeus or Salesforce-related platform
- Previous experience in sales or administrative positions
