Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, hospitality management experience, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Bilingual abilities and hotel management knowledge are highly valued to enhance guest relations and streamline front desk operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service during check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, handling guest inquiries and reservations
  • Assist guests with their needs, including room assignments, concierge services, and information about hotel amenities
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure proper documentation for all transactions
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Perform night audit duties as required, reconciling accounts and preparing reports
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Uphold phone etiquette standards and maintain a professional appearance at the front desk

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred
  • Strong background in customer service, guest relations, and hotel management practices
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is advantageous
  • Knowledge of resort operations or hotel experience will be considered a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle night audit procedures and manage guest interactions with professionalism

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person

Salary : $15 - $20
