What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Floater position at Sugarland Learning Academy Leesburg?
Sugarland Learning Academy is looking for an Assistant Preschool Teacher for young children under the age of 5. The Teacher position will entail:
- Assisting with various classrooms and children from infant through to 5.
- Planning developmentally appropriate activities.
- Implementing lesson plans.
- Be able to work with a group of children and keep them engaged throughout the day.
- Teacher will work alongside an Assistant Teacher in the room.
- Assessments of the children.
- Experience working with this age group of children.
- The ability to delegate tasks to other team members to ensure smooth running of the classroom.
- Great parent communication skills
We are looking for a team member who:

- Is fun, loving, and nurturing
- has an educational background in Early Childhood Education or similar field.
