Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean horse stalls in a large scale boarding facility
- Assist with livestock management tasks including feeding, watering, and handling animals with care and safety in mind.
- Support animal husbandry activities by assisting bedding replacement, and health checks.
- Maintain cleanliness of farm facilities by managing waste disposal and ensuring compliance with safety standards in production.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, agricultural tractors, heavy equipment, or other farm machinery.
- Knowledge of animal care practices including livestock handling, animal husbandry, and equine experience.
- Experience with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and outdoor work environments.
- Strong understanding of safety standards in agricultural production environments.
- Experience in farming or agriculture industries with outdoor work experience preferred.
