Pre-medical student sought for a minimum one-year internship opportunity in a prevention-focused primary care practice specializing in chronic care management.
Schedule Options:
Full-time: 40 hours per week
Part-time: Flexible schedule
Minimum one-year commitment required
Responsibilities:
Assist with chronic care management coordination
Participate in monthly 20-minute patient follow-up calls
Support patient education for hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes
Assist with documentation and care planning
Gain hands-on experience in lifestyle and nutrition-based primary care
Qualifications:
- Pre-medical or pre-health student
- Strong interest in whole food, plant-based nutrition
- Interest in primary care and chronic disease prevention
- Professional communication skills and strong organizational ability
- Bilingual in English and Hindi/Urdu or English and Spanish preferred
- Ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and serious about pursuing a career in medicine.
