Schedule
- Monday thru Friday 9:00 am to 5:00pm for the first four weeks
- Once class starts adjusted hours available TBD
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Essential Functions
- Assisting with managing data and driving improvements related to production equipment and utilities.
- Assisting with assessing new and existing equipment specifications, designing and optimizing facility layouts and critical operational systems, and overseeing infrastructure and utilities equipment projects.
- Assisting with technical recommendations for equipment installations in new facilities.
- Assisting with new facility infrastructure specifications.
- Assisting with and implement utilities plans, perform system evaluations, and establish operational efficiency.
- Assisting with capital project development and execution.
- Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards with mentors.
- Prepare reports and compliance documentation with mentors.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Fully competent in the use of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point.
- Ability to use Microsoft Project, Visio, and AutoCAD is desirable. Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills.
