What are the responsibilities and job description for the FOH/Cashier position at Sugarfire Smoke House?
- Hourly base uncapped tips with guaranteed instore minimum of $16hr combined.
- Must be Personable with customers, and coworkers
- Take orders, in person and over the phone and communicate these to the line cooks
- Greet and Welcome customers at the front door with a smile
- General Cleaning duties with sweeping, mopping and sanitizing throughout the day with deep cleaning each night
- Night time hours available
- Part time
- Willing to Deliver orders in company vehicle* (must be 18 with valid license) (*optional)
REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work flexible schedule
- Must take all orders using POS at time of sale
- Cash handling
- Day, night, and weekend hours available
- Able to speak to customers and help them with any questions about our BBQ
- Willing to make suggestions to customers on their meal choice

Chef Mike Johnson has studied with Myron Mixon, cooked under Emeril Lagasse and Charlie Trotter, and has overseen the creation of six other restaurants. Sugarfire has won so many awards it’s hard to keep track. We were named Best Barbecue by the Travel Channel, St. Louis Magazine, Feast Magazine, and we’ve won awards at the Memphis in May World Barbecue Championships. We’ve been featured on Pitmasters, Beat Bobby Flay, and Burgers, Brew, and Que. Both The New York Times and Snoop Dogg have complimented our food. We really like that combination.
