Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
• Handle laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens
• Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and floor care techniques suitable for various surfaces
• Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and chemical use
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
• Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including trash removal or outdoor surface cleaning
• Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, with knowledge of janitorial procedures and residential housekeeping practices
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and sanitation standards
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong manual handling skills with the physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work as needed
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Good communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
• Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper usage protocols
• Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning environments is preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness at all times
