Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Golf Course Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our golf course. This role requires a passion for landscape maintenance and a commitment to ensuring that all grounds are kept in pristine condition. Groundskeepers will work closely with other team members to create an inviting environment for visitors and staff alike.
Duties
- Perform regular golf course lawn care activities, including mowing greens, fairways, tees, rough, and combing sandboxes
- Utilize riding lawn mowers, weed whippers, leaf blowers, and other tools
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris and litter
- Monitor the health of plants, grass, and surrounding hazards/trees and report any issues or concerns regarding pests or diseases
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after use
Skills
- Proficient in lawn care techniques and practices; willing to learn and adapt to our policies and expectations
- Experience with lawn mowers, especially golf course mower experience, is ideal but not necessary - we will train
- Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality in work performed
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

This is a seasonal position - until it snows, we mow!

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
