Sugar & Spice Custom Creations is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Part-Time Retail Associate to work in our handmade candle and bath & body store every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This role is for someone who is comfortable working directly with customers, helping maintain a clean and organized retail space, and assisting with light behind-the-scenes tasks such as packaging, labeling, and social media support. This is a small business environment, so I need someone who is proactive, reliable, and willing to jump in where needed.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Every Saturday , other days may become available on an as needed basis
- 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, professional way
- Answer basic questions about products
- Ring up customer purchases
- Help keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Assist with packaging and labeling products
- Help with light inventory and restocking tasks
- Support basic social media content creation, such as taking photos, short videos, or helping with posts
- Represent the brand in a positive and polished way
Qualifications
- Friendly and professional with strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently in a small business setting
- Able to learn product information and speak confidently with customers
- Comfortable with social media, especially taking simple photos/videos for Facebook or Instagram
- Detail-oriented and able to help with packaging and labeling accurately
- Retail experience is a plus, but not required
- Interest in candles, bath & body, handmade products, or boutique retail is a plus
