What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructor- General Chemistry Laboratory (Part-Time, Fall 2025 or Spring 2026) position at Suffolk University?
The Department of Biochemistry, Chemistry, Environment, and Physics (BiCEP) at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts is looking for qualified candidates to teach one or more sections of General Chemistry I Laboratory (CHEM L111), General Chemistry II Laboratory (CHEM L211), Organic Chemistry I Laboratory (CHEM L211) or Organic Chemistry II Laboratory (CHEM L211). These courses are in-person laboratory courses, running either September through December 2025 or January through April in 2026. All lab courses run 2-6pm on weekdays. All course materials (e.g., syllabus, lab handouts, online quizzes) will be supplied. A lab manager and a lab coordinator are available for assistance. This position is part-time.
Minimum qualifications include an earned Master’s degree in chemistry or a related field. College teaching experience strongly preferred.
