GENERAL DEFINITION AND CONDITIONS OF WORK |
|
The Director of Technology is responsible for strategic planning, implementing, and managing technology to support educational and administrative goals. Key duties include developing technology policies, overseeing IT staff and budgets, ensuring network and data security, IT project management, and providing professional development and support for staff on using technology for instruction. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief of Schools. |

This is light work requiring the exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects; work requires stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for depth perception, color perception, preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, assembly or fabrication of parts at or within arms length, operation of motor vehicles or equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities; the worker is not subject to adverse environmental conditions. |

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
|
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. The successful candidate must possess a deep background in Educational Technology, with a proven ability to architect solutions that meet industry technology standards for scalability, security, and operational efficiency. CETL Certification (Certified Education Technology Leader) highly recommended and must be completed by June 2027 CompTIA Project preferred |
