The Role
Suffolk is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our rapidly growing Mission Critical team. This individual will lead all aspects of project execution, including contract administration, financial performance, risk management, team leadership, client relationships, procurement, scheduling, quality management, and project closeout.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead project teams from preconstruction through project turnover
• Manage budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete reporting, and overall financial performance
• Oversee change order management and contract administration
• Drive project scheduling, monthly updates, and critical path management
• Lead procurement and subcontractor buyout activities
• Manage project risk, compliance, and contractual obligations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and trade partners
• Ensure quality management standards are implemented and maintained
• Oversee project closeout, turnover, and owner deliverables
• Mentor and develop project team members
• Partner closely with operations, field leadership, and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• 10 years of construction project management experience
• Experience managing large, complex construction projects
• Strong financial, contractual, and operational leadership skills
• Proven ability to lead project teams and develop talent
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client management skills
• Experience in Mission Critical, Data Center, Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial, or other technically complex construction environments preferred
