Business Development Assistant
Job Description:
The Business Development Assistant position will oversee internal and external opportunities of growth and development. The position requires close working with the senior management.
Internal Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing effective internal coordination
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and sales
- Identify opportunities to reduce cost
- Identify opportunities for long term development
- Create and manage suitable databases
- Generate and review performance reports
- Track performance goals
- Utilize technology to improve business processes
- Oversee team projects
- Other duties as requested
External Responsibilities:
- Work with closely with the business development analyst
- Oversee (along with marketing manager) digital marketing including company website
- Coordinate and communicate with freelance graphic designers and programmers
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, service procedures and function.
- Business and marketing knowledge
- Accounting knowledge
- Strong understanding of technology
- Organized, detail oriented and strong (writing and verbal) communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to use excel
Education and Experience:
- Education
- Bachelors degree in Business, or relevant field
- Experience:
- Prior restaurant experience required.
