What you will do in this role
The Pricing Analyst, reporting to the Manager, Pricing Analysis will provide in-depth market analysis centered around active product pricing, accruals, programs, and other influences and considerations to drive economic decision-making and optimize profitability.
Responsibilities
- Produce reporting and analysis and support the overall Pricing Strategy team
- Validate and Optimize Strategic Arrangement Pricing.
- Financial Validation of Marketing Programs and Model resulting Accrual requirements.
- Maintain and analyze rebate accruals within the ERP and coordinate payment issuance
- Collect, File, and Dissect formal and informal / in-season Competitive Price & Marketing Programs
- Coordinate and Collaborate across Functional Disciplines to routinely analyze purchase quantity, gross and net purchases, as well as profitability at various levels of the customer hierarchy
- Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and Marketing Teams to provide visibility and actionable recommendations to the field
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of relevant work experience in FP&A, Marketing, Consulting, Economics, or other relevant fields is required. Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other relevant fields is required
- Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups), MS PowerPoint (charts, graphs)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze, simplify and communicate data
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive communication skills along with strong initiative and balanced judgment
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Organizational skills with superior attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple functional disciplines
- Excellent computation skills to make calculations with good speed and accuracy
