Job Overview:
Successful Steps Support Care is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Administrative Assistant to support daily operations of our growing home care agency. This role is essential in helping maintain smooth operations, supporting staff and clients, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain staff schedules (including schedule board updates)
- Communicate with caregivers and clients regarding schedules, updates, and needs
- Assist with day-to-day agency operations
- Respond to urgent situations and help coordinate coverage when needed
- Conduct client check-ins and satisfaction follow-ups
- Assist with client intakes and onboarding
- Support hiring processes (job postings, scheduling interviews, onboarding)
- Track caregiver certifications, expirations, and continuing education (CEUs)
- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with agency standards
- Assist with documentation and administrative tasks as assigned
Additional Responsibilities (as needed):
- Help coordinate shift coverage when necessary
- Provide general support to leadership to improve workflow and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred (home care experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (phone, text, and email)
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve
- Comfortable using scheduling systems and basic computer programs
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
