Accounts Receivable Accountant

Description

Carpinito Brothers, a local family-owned business, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Accountant to join our team. This role is responsible for accurate invoicing, payment processing, and timely collection efforts to support the company’s cash flow. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Functions

• Process and distribute customer invoices and statements
• Receive and apply customer payments
• Prepare and process daily deposits
• Manage and maintain accurate and timely receivable aging records
• Run credit checks for new customers
• Deliver excellent customer service through professional verbal and written communication
• Record daily sales transactions
• Collections when needed
• Work closely and provide support to the Controller
• Provide additional administrative support to other departments as needed
  
  

Requirements

• Proficient in QuickBooks desktop, a plus
• 3 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
• Have strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive attitude, self-starter and willing to jump in and help where needed
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly compensation based on experience: $30 to $35/hour

Work Schedule

• This position is full-time, in office, Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
