Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and special education, with a focus on providing effective interventions for children with behavioral challenges. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, designing, and implementing behavior intervention plans to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies to improve client outcomes.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulations.
- Provide supervision and guidance to RBTs on Behavior plans.
- Provide training and support to caregivers on behavior management techniques.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience working within special education settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
- Skilled in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with families and professionals.
- A compassionate approach to patient care that prioritizes the well-being of clients.
