Overview:
The General Construction Worker (GCW) supports the Project Superintendent in executing construction-related tasks to ensure the project stays on schedule and is completed with the highest quality. The GCW plays a key role in assisting with all necessary responsibilities and duties from start to end of construction.
Job Responsibilities:
- 1-2 years’ experience of Carpentry work
- Off-load panels and materials from vendor deliveries with use of forklift
- Familiar with the use of power tools
- Familiar with the use of construction equipment (forklift, scissor lifts, reach fork, etc.)
- Install trims, heavy gauge materials, insulated wall and ceiling panels, apply sealants, etc.
- Work within a team atmosphere

- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Proactive in identifying issues and following through with solutions.
