Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace.
- Assist with cash handling and register operations, accurately processing customer transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of any shortages.
- Buss tables and assist in maintaining a clean dining area for customers.
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations in the food industry.
- Experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on sandwich preparation.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
