Subway Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Hours will be Monday through Thursday from 4-8pm. Occasional Sundays.

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our fast-paced food service team. The ideal candidate will have an eagerness to learn , excellent customer service skills, and experience in quick service or fast food environments. This role involves preparing delicious sandwiches, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and providing a welcoming experience for our customers. The position offers an opportunity to develop culinary as well as interpersonal skills.

Duties

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and other menu items according to company recipes and standards
• Operate POS system/ willingness to learn how
• Processing and cash handling
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment
• Assist with food ordering, stocking supplies, and inventory management
• Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing customer inquiries
• Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, processing payments, and giving accurate change
• Support team members with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining environment
• Follow all health regulations related to food handling and sanitation

Requirements

• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory counts
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• This role is ideal for individuals with the ability to work in a team to provide the best service possible to costumers

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
