About the Role
We're looking for a dependable, team-oriented Shift Lead to help run the floor at one of our Subway locations. You'll work alongside the General Manager to keep the store operating at a high level — directing the team during your shift, holding standards, and making sure every guest leaves happy.
This is a great step up for someone who's proven themselves as a crew member and is ready for more responsibility, or for someone with prior shift lead or supervisory experience in food service.
What You'll Do
Open or close the store and direct the shift end-to-end
Lead and coach crew members on food prep, service, and cleanliness standards
Monitor and record waste throughout the shift, identifying patterns and minimizing unnecessary loss
Ensure food safety and temperature log compliance
Handle cash, deposits, and drawer accountability
Address guest concerns professionally and in the moment
Hold team members accountable to expectations during your shift
Communicate issues and observations to the GM
What We're Looking For
1 year of experience in food service (Subway experience a plus)
Prior supervisory or shift lead experience preferred
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Comfortable directing people and having direct conversations
Able to stay calm and problem-solve during busy periods
