Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other quick-service items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen tools, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and balancing registers at the end of shifts
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance sales
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area to promote a welcoming environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required — we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in retail or grocery store environments is a plus but not mandatory
