Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to sanitation and food safety protocols.
• Handle cash register operations, process retail sales transactions, and manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy.
• Upsell menu items by engaging customers in friendly conversation and promoting specials or add-ons.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, and refrigerators, while following proper food handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and resolving any concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety management, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive demeanor.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace consistently.
• Retail sales experience or grocery store experience is advantageous but not required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
