Duties
- Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other food items following established recipes and food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product suggestions through upselling techniques
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and condiments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy restaurant environment to enhance customer experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; culinary or restaurant experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service or fast food setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards diligently
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafés is advantageous
