Duties

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently to process orders accurately and swiftly.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders with enthusiasm, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the work area by adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with food handling tasks such as stocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and bussing tables or cleaning workstations as needed.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health codes and safety standards to promote a safe dining environment.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere by providing excellent customer service, addressing guest questions or concerns promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols related to kitchen operations, food handling, sanitation, and equipment use.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast-food restaurants; culinary experience is highly valued.
