Regional Manager

Job Overview

Coordinates and supports all activities within all assigned geographical areas. Trains, coaches, and supports Managers and General Managers. Plans and sets business goals, marketing goals, and hiring/employment goals. Coordinates and supports maintenance and store construction needs.

Responsibilities

· Able to perform all tasks and responsibilities of a Sandwich Artist, Assistant Manager, and Manager as outlined in their respective job descriptions.

· Covers all Manager duties during vacation of Managers.

· Provides leadership to Managers and staff in all geographical areas to ensure compliance with standards as set in the Operations Manual, Policy and Procedure book, and applicable government regulations.

· Works with all staff to achieve sales goals by using available reports to identify opportunities.

· Works with all staff to achieve profitability goals by using available reports to identify opportunities.

· Works with the community to achieve future sales and hiring goals of the company as a whole.

· Ensures that correct operational procedures are followed and takes corrective action if necessary.

· Coaches and trains Managers and Assistant Managers for operational excellence, helps to develop new hire relationships and reward programs, and monitors training processes to ensure quality training of employees. Enforces company policies and procedures in an appropriate fashion.

· Develops and maintains staffing levels for Managers and General Managers.

· Supports local and national marketing initiatives for current and prospective customers as well as future new hires.

· Performs geographical area-to-office paperwork duties.

· Maintains a productive communication network between geographical areas and office.

· Plans special events and promotions, such as Holiday Parades, large business party events, etc.

Knowledge and Abilities

· High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required.

· Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.

· Must be able to operate a computerize Point of Sales system/cash register.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of successful operational management experience in QSR operations.

· Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

· Ability to deal with all levels of employees, and all situations with customers.

· Basic math and accounting skills.

· Strong analytical/decision making skills.

· Demonstrate achievement in staff selection and in coaching/development.

· Demonstrate ability to promote the company as a whole to the community.

· Maintain a valid driver’s license and vehicle with insurance.

· Maintain a valid ServSafe Manager certification.

Physical Demands

· Must be able to work any area of the restaurant.

· Ability to work in confined spaces.

· Bending/twisting and reaching.

· Lifting and carrying 30 pounds or less.

· Sitting, standing, walking, climbing, and stooping.

· Talking and hearing; use of the telephone.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
