Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our Subway team as a Prep Cook/Sandwich Maker. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, takes pride in keeping the restaurant clean, and can prepare fresh food while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Arrive on time for early morning opening shifts.
- Open the restaurant and prepare the store for daily operations.
- Prepare fresh vegetables, meats, breads, sauces, and other food ingredients.
- Bake bread and cookies and prepare food according to Subway standards.
- Set up the sandwich line and food preparation stations.
- Make sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items to customer specifications.
- Greet customers, take orders, and operate the cash register.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures.
- Keep kitchen equipment, counters, floors, and dining areas clean.
- Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
- Work efficiently and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours.
- Friendly attitude and good customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and food safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn Subway recipes and preparation standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required.
