What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Manager in Training - Kokomo position at Subway?
General Manager Description:
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
1. Completes and posts staff work schedules 2 weeks in advance.
2. Recruits, rewards, and terminates staff as needed.
3. Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff.
4. Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained, and company safety and security policy are followed.
5. Maintains business records as outlined in the Subway® Operations Manual: Daily Procedures.
6. Analyzes business records to increase sales.
7. Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
8. Identifies and contacts prospective customers to promote sales.
9. Ensures store(s) are open and operational during and outside of scheduled work hours.
10. Completes University of Subway® courses as directed.
11. Accurately executes stores counts both weekly and monthly.
12. Have a hands on management approach and ability to multitask
Requirements
- Able to exert well-paced mobility and can lift 15 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Have the stamina to work an average 50 hours per week
- Able to quickly learn store operations and menu preparations
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Effective and consistent leadership ability
- Quick thinking & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace in an organized manner
- Exceptional customer service skills!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
