Duties

• Lead and motivate the overnight team to deliver fast, friendly service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other menu items efficiently, following established recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions accurately and swiftly.
• Manage cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and handling cash with precision.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, including bussing tables and cleaning kitchen equipment regularly.
• Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety management practices.
• Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with restocking supplies as needed.
• Uphold excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, upselling menu items, and ensuring a positive experience for every guest.
• Assist with training new team members in food preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
• Ensure all operating kitchen equipment functions properly and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
• Proven ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and maintain a positive work environment during overnight hours.
• Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or food industry roles will support success in this position.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential.
• Prior kitchen or café experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued highly.
