Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring quality and freshness in every order
- Engage with customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and providing friendly service
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas
- Manage food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring the restaurant remains inviting and organized
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, grocery store transactions, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Capable of standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate weights, and working in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is beneficial but not required; we welcome motivated learners from retail or grocery store backgrounds
