Duties

• Prepare a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell additional items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning workstations, utensils, and food prep areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure food safety and proper food handling practices are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing the overall cleanliness of the dining area

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous
• Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and perform physical tasks such as bending or lifting
