Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience.
• Manage food inventory, restock supplies, and assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area.
• Uphold sanitation standards by properly bussing tables, cleaning food prep areas, and following health guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude during busy periods in a fast food or quick service restaurant environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a restaurant or café setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly while maintaining quality.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper kitchen procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment within the food industry or grocery store setting.
