Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and rotated to maintain quality.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Assist in bussing tables and cleaning dining areas to ensure a pleasant environment for customers.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Operate the cash register and Aloha POS system efficiently, processing customer transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha, is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
- Experience in grocery store settings or similar environments is advantageous but not required.
