MTF Companies-Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper is an essential position within the organization, responsible for managing account transactions in QuickBooks and leading the accounts payable function. A successful bookkeeper is a detail-oriented, critical thinker who can deliver clean, organized financials.
An MTF Companies Bookkeeper will:
1. Record account transactions and journal entries in QB.
2. Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
3. Manage sales tax payments in states of operation.
4. Ensure accounts receivable payments are accurate.
5. Lead our accounts payable process, ensuring vendors are paid appropriately.
6. Assist with office/clerical duties as needed.
This position is a hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office (Gonzales or Geismar) and 2 days working from home. Some flexibility on days of the week is possible.
Qualifications of a DO:
1.) 3-5 years of successful, full charge bookkeeping experience.
2.) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Willingness to ask questions and present ideas to all levels of leadership.
3.) Maintain calm while acting with a sense of urgency.
4.) Ability to prioritize multiple projects at the same time.
5.) Self-starter able to work independently with limited supervision.
6.) Like to have fun and work with great people!
Pay: $44,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
