Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in food service management, ensuring that our hospital's food service operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service to patients and staff alike, while also managing staff training and development.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations of the hospital's food service department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage banquet services and special events, coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
• Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring that all meals meet quality standards and dietary requirements.
• Train and mentor staff in food service best practices, including cooking techniques and customer service skills.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop menus that cater to patient needs, preferences, and nutritional guidelines.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
• Work closely with the assistant manager to implement policies and procedures that enhance overall service quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service management within a healthcare or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and best practices in the food industry.
• Experience in training staff on operational procedures and customer service excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with patients, staff, and vendors.
• Familiarity with coffee service operations is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
