Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the hospital's food service department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage banquet services and special events, coordinating with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Oversee food handling procedures, ensuring that all meals meet quality standards and dietary requirements.
- Train and mentor staff in food service best practices, including cooking techniques and customer service skills.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop menus that cater to patient needs, preferences, and nutritional guidelines.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the assistant manager to implement policies and procedures that enhance overall service quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service management within a healthcare or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
