What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Manager position at Subway - 4254-0?
Subway at East Paris and 28th St is looking for a dynamic individual to help assist the store manager with day to day operations of the sub shop. In addition to the role of a Shift Manager, key parts of your day to day will consist of:
- Managing a staff of 4-12 including assigning and evaluating work
- Assisting in the planning of special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating any training needed to make events successful
- Assisting with product ordering and inventory as needed

PREREQUISITES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
