Responsibilities:
The Service Technician is responsible for performing automotive repairs and service in accordance with dealership and factory standards. This individual utilizes their skills to diagnose and resolve automotive concerns quickly and accurately.
Essential Duties include:
- Performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and performs repairs.
- Communicates with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Saves and tags parts when required for warranty purposes or customer requests.
- Examines assigned vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is needed or recommended.
- Communicates with service advisors regarding additional work, changes to repair orders, or delays.
- Documents all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
- Road tests vehicles when required.
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Qualifications:
- Prior Subaru automotive repair experience required.
- Subaru Training and/or ASE training required.
- Team player focused on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
