What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping position at Suburban Studios?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper and are actively looking to meet the best and brightest talent that the hospitality industry has to offer. Responsibilities:
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum to make sure public areas meet hotel standards
- Clean and maintain back of house and team member break areas
- Strip guest rooms, deliver supplies to team members, and take linens to laundry
- Restock the public area supplies, alerting management of low supply
- Take out the trash in public areas and in the housekeeping department
- Greet guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Housekeeping experience a plus, but will train the right fit
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to move, bend, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions
- A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
- A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $14.00 per hour
